Symbio 1.2.1

Changes

This release fixes a bug that would display the wrong text when using some themes that use internationalization.

Symbio 1.2

Changes

Extended article ID support: Symbio now allows non-integer article IDs.
Extended help popup theming: Theme designers will be pleased to find out that the help popup can now be tweaked to their liking.
Commenting form i18n: All text on the commenting form can now be displayed in the user's language.
New setup options: You can now choose the character set for the HTML output, decide if you want a separate comment popup for every article or one general popup, and have Symbio display comment listings in both reverse and regular chronological order.
Improved control panel: No more having to log in twice on some browsers, plus some new options and minor improvements.
Better smileys: The smiley images have been revamped and will now look better on background colors other than white.
Automatic chmod: After writing to a file, it is now made writable for system users other than the one running the web server. The user account on which the web server runs is generally not the same as the owner's, which would render files created by old versions of Symbio inaccessible. While you would generally not edit the files manually, in case you wanted to mess with Symbio's internal structure, now you can.
Bugfix: Editing a comment in the control panel would corrupt the comment file in some cases. That'll show you for editorializing!
Code cleanup: I tidied up some bits, nothing fancy.

Upgrading

Version 1.1 help.txt files will not be compatible with the new format. Please upgrade your theme before using it.
Version 1.1 main.txt files will be compatible with the new format, yet new tags have been added for internationalization purposes. Please upgrade your theme before using it.
Version 1.1 language files will not be compatible with version 1.2. Extra lines have been added after line 44. Please notify your language file developer if your file has not been upgraded.
